Smarties Early Learning Centre is a 48 place purpose-built Early Learning Centre that is family-owned and operated, catering for children from 0 to 6 years old. Our Centre hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.00pm. We will be closing for two weeks over the Christmas period and all allocated public holidays through the year.

Smarties Early Learning Centre’s purpose-built facility will be fitted with high quality, open ended resources that facilitates and reflects the children’s natural desire to play and learn. 

Each room has its own outdoor play area that will provide age appropriate physical experiences, while encouraging all children to explore the natural resources on offer. Q Speech & Learning Clinic

Our exciting new Prep 4 Preschool playgroup is a program for children with additional needs who are not attending a preschool, childcare care or early learning service. The program will run from our Oatley centre, commencing February, in a relaxed and engaging environment to enhance the development of your child. CENTRE NEWS

Banbury Cottage &  Rainbow Cottage  February is almost over and we cannot believe how much we have already done with the children in these 2 months of 2019. The children celebrated Chinese New Year with the families within our service. The Educators had many wonderful art craft experiences and discussions about Chinese New Year with the children, our rooms filling up with colours of red and gold. Our centre values all the cultures within our community. We celebrate and learn about everyone. Allowing the children to experience and learn new things is a wonderful experience for us as Educators. We care about our families, we include them in our planning and when they can they join us in these cultural celebrations we have throughout the year.  

Our services had their floors polished over the past few weekends and rooms got a quick makeover with some changes in set up. The Educators love surprising the children with a look to their room, new adventures and new learning spaces, creating more opportunities for learning.

We are very excited for our next upcoming Preschool Workshop with the Positive Thinking Clinic in March. Our 4 services offer these workshops for free to children over 3 years old. They are held once per month, and go for 1 hour. At the beginning of February we held our first session and the children who joined the group had a positive experience and got so much done in the 1 hour. The workshops are designed to promote: Mental health and wellness, Personal Development, Emotional Intelligence and overall skills to become better versions of themselves!!!
