Attunga Cottage Children's Centre We are a small 29 place Childcare Service located on the grounds of Peakhurst Public School. We have had the privilege of providing quality care to our local community since 1994 and would love the opportunity to care for your child. We are very proudly rated as EXCEEDING National Quality Standards through ACECQA.
Families are very welcome to come along for a visit and explore our play environments both inside and out to get a feel for the type of program we offer and to see just what makes Attunga special.
Here at Attunga we run an Extended Hours Preschool Session between the hours of 7:30am and 5:45pm ($82.00 per day less any CCS) as well as a Standard Preschool between 9:00am and 3:15pm ($62.00 per day less any CCS) for children 3 - 6 years. We also operate a Before School, After School and Vacation Care service for children attending Peakhurst Public School and our wider community. All meals and linen are included in our daily rate.
We are conveniently located on the grounds Peakhurst Public School. Families and Visitors can enter via our pathway and gate on Bailey Parade, or through the main school gate on Bonds Road.
We do not charge a Wait List Fee and eligible families are able to receive Childcare Subsidy. To access our online wait list application simply click here

Hide and Seek Family Day Care, Hurstville Grove provides a safe and nurturing environment looking after children in the home offering a warm, safe, secure and stimulating home environment .
Children will participate in a variety of child guided learning opportunities based on the Early Years Learning Framework. Lots of resources for children to learn as well as have lots of fun both indoors and outdoors.
Small numbers and more individual care. Program tailored to suit each individual child and their age group to meet their care and learning needs. All children have different interests and strengths and I plan to tailored to those as well as helping with new interests and working out other strengths.
Working together with the parents and families we can tailor a program that will suit their child or children to get the best possible care.

Kindyhub is providing families with online "At Home" Learning Experiences.
During these challenging times, we want to ensure you that Kindyhub has your back, both from an Educators and Parent perspective.
Should Childcare Services be forced to close, Kindyhub can assist educators in providing families with a series of online learning videos, stories and activities to complete at home:
Capture: Educators can upload images of learning activities and short explainer videos to share with families eg. creative arts, a short puppet show, physical activity options and much more.
Daily Journals: Educators can showcase different learning activities that parents can re-create at home.
Report Library: Kindyhub will create a new report option for all services called "At Home Learning". This will become part of your report library and can be customised to suit your services needs.
Family Stories: Families can upload these learning experiences directly via the Parent App or Web Portal for educators to plan and extend on the learning at home.
At-Home Learning Icon: Families will soon have access to learning activity ideas, daily program suggestions and links to relevant resources. Kindyhub will update on a regular basis.

Positive Thinking Clinic APRIL at PTC is what I call an ONLINE MONTH.
Whilst we DISTANCE and ISOLATE to protect ourselves and others we can still CONNECT and look after one another.
PTC is offering FREE telephone counselling for the elderly. Most are feeling lonely, anxious, overwhelmed and more. I hope I get the opportunity to speak to many and relieve distress and provide a sense of connection.
AMAZING KIDS WORKSHOPS during school holidays go online. How amazing. Who would have thought. But yes. It’s going to be a season of online entertainment and learning. If you're experiencing temporary financial hardship because your work conditions have changed, you can apply for Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) Temporary Financial Hardship.
ACCS provides extra help with the cost of approved child care for up to 13 weeks. You can get up to 100 hours of subsidised child care per fortnight.
