Welcome to Al Zahra Kingdom, we are conveniently located within the Al Zahra College at Arncliffe.

We are open from 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday (and we are open 48 weeks per year), we cater for children from 3 to 6 years of age.

We call the Preschool, Al Zahra Kingdom, because it is a place where learning is fun, and in honor of Fatima Al Zahra's traditional role as a protector of children. Children, families and staff at Al Zahra Preschool are respected and valued for their unique individual qualities and the beliefs that form each family's culture.

Our motivated, qualified and experienced staff create a stimulating learning environment. We offer the purpose-built facilities, caring staff and Islamic values to give your child the best possible start in life.

We provide morning tea. As we promote healthy eating, we request that the lunch you provide supports this philosophy. Nuts are forbidden in the school to protect children with allergies.

Al Zahra College is accredited by the Cancer Council as a Sun Smart Centre, with covered play areas and a sun protection policy. Al Zahra College is also an accredited Asthma-Friendly school.

Our programme is designed to give your child opportunities to learn, discover, make decisions, be curious, make friends and enjoy their time at school and to build foundations on which they can successfully become life long learners.

Our centre is open to all members of the public.

An Enrolment Fee of $100 per student is payable upon enrolment. Please note that this enrolment fee is non refundable.

A bond of $250 is payable on enrolment to secure your child’s position at Al Zahra Kingdom and will be refunded on cessation of enrolment given 2 weeks notice.

Fees are payable on a weekly basis and are to remain 2 weeks in advance at all times. If fees fail to be to paid on time and fail to remain 2 weeks in advance, then your child’s position at Al Zahra Kingdom will be jeopardised and will not be able to return to care until all outstanding fees are paid and are 2 weeks in advance.

Fees are $55.00 per child per day

If child is absent or public / Islamic holidays fall on your day of attendance, you will still be charged for that day.

Child Care Benefit (CCB)

Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a Commonwealth-funded program administered by the Family Assistance Office (FAO) and is designed to reduce your child care costs. All Australian resident families using approved care are eligible for CCB.

The percentage of this fee relief depends on your income, hours of care used and the number of children you have in care. CCB can be claimed as a direct fee reduction from the centre or a lump sum at the end of the financial year. If you wish to claim CCB, you must contact the FAO on 136150.
