We are a Centre of Excellence providing quality care for children aged between 0 to 6 years .
Our hours of operation are 7.30 am to 6pm, 5 days per week, 52 weeks per year for your convenience.
All children's meals are provided throughout the day, including hot lunch, morning and afternoon teas.
The children's abilities in all aspects of their cognitive, language, physical, social and emotional development are individually assessed and enhanced in our "Holistic Excellence" program and routines. A special school readiness program is also included for children who plan to attend school in the following year.
You can trust your children's care to A Little Rei Of Sunshine - more than just another child care centre.
Please contact us to discuss your child care needs.
We believe that each child is a unique individual, with individual beliefs, interests and ideals that need to be respected and encouraged to in order to foster Holistic Excellence.
By providing a supportive and encouraging environment, we believe that the child's self esteem and self worth will be enhanced.
We understand the importance of embracing the diversity of all children and their families and as such, will respect all children without discriminating against their gender, age, race, religion, language or ability. This is achieved by modeling an anti-bias approach in all our interactions with the children and their families.
We believe that the early childhood program should be a direct reflection of the children's interest and needs both individually and as a group.
The curriculum fosters curiosity and thinking through the use of investigations and projects with the emphasis being on learning how to learn, not the product as an end result. All our observations taken on the children aim to help determine their interest and encourage their developing skills and abilities. We will ensure that at all times the child's privacy is respected and that confidentiality is adhered to.
We will ensure that the children are in a safe and hygienic environment at all times and will always adhere to occupational health and safety requirements for our own safety as well as the safety of the team, families and children with whom we work.
We believe that it is our responsibility to role model appropriate behaviour to children and families at all times.
We understand the importance of community and as such will at all times encourage the participation of, not only the families attending the service, but also the wider community as well.
Parents/guardians are invited and encouraged to participate in the program at any time and on any level that they feel comfortable with. This will assist in building an empowering partnership between the centre, staff and the families and will help ensure that the children receive the maximum benefit from being at the centre.
